Help us send a message to President Adams that we are not okay with the destruction of UGA’s historic campus. The University’s plans to demolish historic Rutherford Hall are indicative of larger issues facing our school. The administration has shirked its responsibilities as stewards of our University’s rich heritage by ignoring a decade old mandate from the State of Georgia to develop a preservation plan for the campus. Sign this petition and let them know that we value our entire campus, and we are not okay with the loss of our historic buildings, the encroachment on our beloved green spaces, and the tons of waste that will be added to our landfills. UGA is special to all of us for many different reasons, but we can all agree that we want our history, memories, and pride preserved for future generations. Sign the petition today!
