Basically, they provide the in-depth international perspectives that pop up in the brief moments that lack political squabbling. So, it’s interesting to see her take on the current events at CNN (It’s, arguably, even more interesting to listen to her thoughts on Syria that immediately follow).
CNN has been helmed by Jeff Zucker for four months. Those months have seen the departure of many veterans, a strange attempt to recreate the Today show formula (premiering June 11th), and many swings-and-misses by frantic reporters trying to break the news first.
