An In-depth Review of Power Rangers (2017)

Power Rangers is only award-worthy if we’re talking “Film Most Shockingly Not Directed by Michael Bay.” It is, however, on HBO now.

Bryan Kranston and Elizabeth Banks are in it, so that’s good. Banks’ Rita Repulsa even gets to wander around Agel Grove screaming out for directions to the nearest Krispy Kreme.

I have no idea if I would have even lasted the two hours of this film if it weren’t intrinsically linked with my childhood.

That and some gratuitous shots of abs near the beginning of the film from an actor I hope is a 20-something playing a teenager.
