In the murky world of D.C. marijuana law, ‘pop-up’ markets thrive?

 

My friend Terry regularly texts me links to articles I need to read.

T: So in DC, voters decriminalized the sale and use of marijuana. But bc of federal review (they have the right to veto our laws before they go into effect) you’re not allowed to sell it.

The workaround has been giving it away, but recently the police have been raiding and confiscating pop up shops.

But then dropping charges.
